Photo Friday

Pictures from the last couple of weeks:

This is Truett from church last week.

They love to play with the water hose.

Should we be embarrassed that we took our daughter to the mall in this get up?

We saw some Sugar Gliders the other day.  They're kind of like flying squirrels.  This first picture is a favorite of mine.  See that little blur in the middle of the picture?  That's Paisley jumping up and down so fast because she was so excited about these little things!
Tru was quite enamored with them, as well.  He wanted to make sure that each one had his own little house and stayed in it.  If someone tried to take one out, he got quite upset.

As much as Paisley loves taking pictures with mannequins and posters, she is scared to death of dressed up characters.  Truett thought it was really neat that he got to take a picture with Goofy.

I had about 50 pictures on my phone just like this.  Paisley loves taking pictures!

OUCH!  You can't see it so well in this picture, but Truett got a huge knot on his head last week.  He was upset and running up the stairs when he slipped.  There were LOTS of tears!

Taking a walk on a rainy day.

Not sure why, but I really like these pictures.  Truett was outside playing when he suddenly took his backpack off and intently looked in it for something.

Saying "good bye" to some great friends.  Unfortunately, saying bye to people is going to become a major part of our life working with college students here.

Michael made the kids a castle.  We can see where their artistic ability comes from!

Every morning, the kids wake up way too early (we make Truett stay in bed until 6:00, although he is usually awake much earlier than that.  Paisley is usually good until about 6:30).  They get to sit on the couch and watch a tv show, mostly so that mom and day can rest for a little bit longer.

We found Daniel Tiger games (a cartoon version of Mr. Rogers) on the internet.  I love how they are sitting there together to play.  They love each other!

We love playing with chalk.  However, this time of year is rainy season and we don't get to play outside as much as we'd like.  Today was nice an sunny.  Well, at least it was this morning.
Paisley wanted her toes painted pink . . . and purple.  So, that's just what we did.

Paisley decided to photobomb the selfie of Truett and me.  Silly girl!

Truett really loves meeting new kids.  These boys were walking home from school past our block.  We waved, they waved, and then off Truett went to talk to them,
with Paisley not far behind.

I wish you could see this picture better.  Truett struck up a conversation with a dad at a play place.  He just plopped himself down at the top of the slide and started talking.  He is pretty animated when he talks and it's just fun to watch him.
