We had an end of the year parent-teacher meeting with Paisley's teachers.  They all said lovely things about her.  Made this momma happy.  At the end of all of the meetings, each kid gave their teachers roses.

Cooking Class

On the last day that mom was here, we went to an Indonesian cooking class.  It was great fun!  We looked through a cookbook and picked out a couple of entrees and then headed off to the market to buy the supplies.  It was quite an adventure.  Lucky for us, while we were at the market, our instructor would find other fun things for us to buy and make.  We'll start with some pictures from the market.

 And the cooking begins.  The first couple of pictures are of a 

friend of mine who came with us and of our cooking instructor. 

 And lunch, the finished product!  Enak Sekali!!  If you come visit and you like to cook, we'll definitely take this class!
