Catching up on life

Here are some pictures of life recently.

We had a huge book sale in the city and the kids found these 3D puzzles there.  Truett's was a cityscape of London and Paisley's was a Victorian doll house.  Hours of fun (and quiet) with this activity!!

Once a year, we see sheep like this around the city.  They are waiting to be sacrificed.  This one was tied up in our neighbor's yard.

Having fun doing a little embroidery.

This isn't dangerous, right?  Making a swing out of plastic raffia and hanging it over the edge.  But, hey, at least they put cushions under it, right???

 Aren't they the cutest??

Look at these sweet kids holding hands!  They really do love each other!

There are selfie spots all over this town.

 Paisley and our neighbor.

Truett is playing basketball at school (not really a team, more just learning and drills).  Don't ask me what he's doing in these pictures!

 Where's Truett?

The kids got some hermit crabs.  They had a blast with them for the first few days.  Then they pretty much forgot about them.  So, we let them go.  Hope those little things survive!

Don't even ask me what's going on in this picture!

Girls' Party and Paisley cooks

Our young adult group had Girls' Night.  So much fun!  We painted our nails (Paisley was so proud of the way she put out the fingernail polish), decorated cookies, gave ourselves henna tattoos and face masks, and watched a movie.  Paisley loves these nights!

Here are just a few pictures of our young adult girls' group.  We decided we wanted to have a picnic for our last meeting, so we just picnicked under the tree in our front yard!

This is the group of us another night at dinner.

Paisley is in a cooking class at school and insisted on  cooking dinner for us one night. Chicken Schnitzel!  She did all of it except the actual frying.

Funny story . . . We have a dinner at our Bible Study each Thursday.  We often have one of our students order it and have it delivered.  Well, on this particular week, the guy got confused and ordered it on Wednesday!  So, as Paisley is making us a delicious dinner, we have food for 25 people delivered!  I just sent out an emergency message asking everyone to come over for dinner!
