All About Tru

Just thought you might like to get some morning smiles . . .

A few friends from church.  We all happened to be matching.  Cute picture, huh?  This picture represents Germany, Kenya, America, and Indonesia.  I love that we go to an international church!

Truett saw this bride-to-be at dinner one night and thought she looked like a princess.
So, he went over and asked her for a selfie, all by himself!

Stylin' in his new pants . . . A sweet smile . . . And a new hat

"Look what I learned in gymnastics!"

MarkerMan.  There are some markers that hook together by the caps.  They made a whole outfit for him.

Truett gets to go to a special detective school on Saturdays.  This is his undercover photo.

Truett was spying on us the other day.  Ten points for the first person who can translate it correctly!

For Your Viewing Entertainment

Get ready to laugh!!!

A little background before I embarrass myself with the pictures.  Paisley graduates from preschool in a couple of weeks (kindergarten here starts a year early since it's a two year program).  Each year, the school has a theme for the graduation.  If you remember Truett's graduation last year, his was a Javanese theme.  It was actually quite neat because everyone dressed in traditional Javanese clothes.  I actually dressed in traditional clothes, too, but completely forgot to take a picture!  Well, this year's theme, for Paisley's graduation, is occupations.  Each graduating class will dress up like a different occupation.  Paisley's class is musicians, rock stars and jazz artists.  Paisley is going to make one cute rock star!  You'll have to wait to see pictures of her, though.

Also, parents in each class usually buy a page in the school's yearbook.  The moms in Paisley's class decided to dress up and do a photo shoot together.  Can you see where this is headed???  Yes, the moms decided to follow the theme of graduation and dress up like our kids!  Not all of the moms took it quite as literally as some of us, but we had a fun time together.  I had to borrow some clothes to get the rocker look, but I think it ended up ok, at least well enough to not be embarrassed.

So, here you go . . .   These first ones are just of us goofing around after the photo shoot.

These are from the actual photo shoot.  Sorry they are just pictures of pictures.

Friend's Pictures

We got some pictures from a friend's phone, so I thought I would share them with you.

These first ones are a few more pictures from Pacitan, a beach a few hours away.

They tried some jumping pictures.

We had a party for one of the girls in our Bible study group.  A few days after the party, she moved to America to marry her fiance.  The party was on a rooftop hotel pool.  It was beautiful and we had a great time!
