Ballet

Paisley's class had a little ballet performance last weekend.  I saw a neat hair style on the internet, so we tried it.

Paisley had lots of people come out to watch her dance.

Some of her friends in her class.  The second picture is with two of her best friends, Sofia and Miyuki.

Last fall, we went to the Robinson Family Pumpkin Patch.  I thought it was going to be near Robinson, the city where we were living.  But, nope, it was the Robinson Family and they lived about an hour away.  It was far and hot, but we had fun!  Here are a few of the activities.

Pumpkin patch pictures, of course.

The Things We See #5

I've got a lot of fun things for this post.  Enjoy!

Chicken soup flavored oatmeal.

A wedding favor that is a flying pig piggy bank.

The sign for the women's restroom.

Rainbow burgers!

I wish you could see this a little better.  That's  a motorcycle piled high with "krupuk."  It's piled about 8 feet high!

This is a tokek, a big lizard that makes a horrendously loud noise.  It was crawling on our wall outside.   ICK!

Ha!  This one makes me laugh.  This is a picture of some guy exercising on his rooftop, about 5 feet from our back window!

We often see things spelled incorrectly.  That top one should say "take away," but instead says, "take waay."  I feel like the person who made the sign knew the correct letters, just couldn't figure out the right order.

Mac and Cheese . . . for $8.00!!

So, the wall of the house next to us is basically the same wall as the side of our house.  Notice how they put a big red stripe on it?  Part of the front of their house is red, so . . . I guess they thought they should paint the side red, too???  I asked why they didn't paint all of it.  They ran out of paint.  I asked why they didn't just paint it grey like the rest of the wall.  They didn't have any grey paint.  So, the solution was to paint a 3 foot red strip on the side of the house.  Huh?

At McDonalds, the mcnugget Happy Meal comes with rice, not fries.  And this little girl likes it!  And that is how she eats it!

Notice the awning going out over the street.  Whenever someone dies in a neighborhood, this goes up in front of the house and a bunch of folding chairs are brought in.  It doesn't matter if it's a main road or a small neighborhood street, the traffic gets shut down for the duration.

Shrimp burger from Wendy's, anyone?

Bubble Fun and a Color Run

One day the kids wanted to play with a little bubble shooter that we bought a while back.  Unfortunately, it was broken and there was no more bubble juice.

So, we used the blower part of the bubble shooter and made our own bubble juice.  It made some great bubbles that seemed to be un-poppable.

Truett had fun trying to get Winnie the Pooh stuck in a bubble

And I just love this shirt from VRBC.

When the kids were in school back in Robinson, we participated in the Color Run to raise funds for the education foundation.  It was a blast!
