Tokyo

Our family spent the past 10 days in Tokyo.  The first half were spent in meetings and sightseeing.  Through a generous gift, the last half was spent at Tokyo Disney.

It was COLD!  We borrowed most of the clothes the kids wore, bought some warm jackets, and had hand warmers and leg warmwers sent over from America.  We stayed plenty warm.

This place was beautifully lit up at night.

Everything was Mickey themed, from the food and the soap to the sidewalk art and train hand straps.

Here are some fun things around the park.
 we found Texas!

the hotel had pajamas.  the kids loved them.
i don't know about this guy!  see all those dolls on his bag?  each one was at least $15.  besides the price, who wants to carry all those around the park all day?
at every ride, Paisley would be so excited and show us that she was tall enough to ride it.
 just chillin'
yes, we pushed our 6 1/2 and almost 8 year olds around in strollers.  but, come on, it's better than having whining kids all day!
the kids used some of their Christmas money to buy souvenirs.

i loved all the flowers.  Truett wanted me to take pictures of them so he could buy me some for my birthday.  what a sweetheart!

she stuck her straw through the gap where she lost a tooth.
Paisley wanted to take a picture of Michael and me, but it was on selfie mode!
 a couple of cuties

There were plenty of photo opportunities around the parks.

Many of the rides were the exact same as the rides in other Disney parks.  Some where completely unique to the Tokyo parks.

 pooh's hunny hut
  it's a small world

 princess's palace

 space mountain
carousel (you can see us in the mirror)

We took plenty of family pictures while there.

Some random pictures getting back home.

we found some restaurants for Nana and Grams
  that's a lot of luggage!
we flew from Japan to Kuala Lampur and got in at midnight.  this is how Truett felt about that!  Paisley was not any happier waiting to get our room at the hotel.
we spent the night in KL in the tiniest room ever.  but it was at the airport, so we'll take it!
what a cutie, coloring and watching a movie on the flight home.
