Nothin' Much

We haven't had much going on around here lately.  So, here are just a few shots from the past month or so.

Awhile back, we had little grass pieces put in some little holes in our driveway.  Truett is such a little helper and went out to dig out the dirt and plant the grass with the workers.  He used his plastic play tools and container.

This is one of our friends from church.  She is moving to America in just a month to get married.  We will miss her!

Look at this cute little munchkin . . . of course she wears Truett's pajamas to play outside and wears a winter hat in a country that is NEVER cold.

On of their favorite things to do is to secretly dress up after bathtime in their super hero pajamas and run out and do a super hero pose.  Makes us laugh every time!

On the days when I work and Truett is in school, Paisley gets a special "Daddy-Daughter Day."  It's her favorite and they love to get nasi goreng (fried rice) together.

Just a little cuteness to brighten your day.

Game Night

Every once in a while, we skip the usual Thursday night Bible study and have a game night.  Our kids LOVE it and ask every week if it's going to be game night.  If you know me well, you know that I love it, too.  Michael on the other hand . . . well, he tolerates it.

Not everyone was playing games.  There were some deep talks going on, too.

And some baking.

I'm not exactly sure what this game was, but every time someone lost, they got flour put on their face.

Paisley made up a game.  They passed a fan around fanning each other.  Sounds fun in this hot weather!

Overall, it was a great success!

A Day Trip

Our kids had a school holiday on Wednesday.  The whole country had the day off for Neypi, a Hindu holiday of silence, fasting, and meditation.  Our family did none of the three.  Instead, we took a day trip to a nearby city.  We didn't really have much to do, but we ate some good food, found some Dr Pepper to drink, and the kids had fun at a few different play places we found.  We spent some time at the Pancisila, kind of like the town square.  There were little kid four wheelers to ride and bubbles to buy and play in.  There was a group of girls who stopped by to play with the kids and take pictures.
