Magnolia

You can't live in Waco without at least one trip to Chip and Joanna's Magnolia.  We met my brother's future in laws there and had a great time.  Paisley and I got there a little early and took some pictures.  I took a bunch of her, then she had to take some of me, then some nice people took pictures of us together.  Great time with my girl!

More School

Truett's teachers have sent us some pictures of him at school.  He's working hard!

I'm not sure why it looks like Truett has pink hair in this first picture.
The second is his whole class celebrating a friend's birthday.

These pictures are from his art class.  I love how every picture looks the same and then Truett's stands out covered in a rainbow!

Here are the kids school pictures from back in the fall.

The World Landmarks (and 4th of July)

We found a neat little park that has replicas of some of the most well known buildings around the world.  We went there with our young adult group from the church.

Of course, anywhere we go, people want to take pictures with us.  Here are a few from the day.

This picture is actually with a friend of ours, not a random person asking to take a picture.

Here are some of the sites.

They were all making funny faces.  Truett wanted his funny face to look like he was rolling his eyes.  It just looks like he's mad to be there!

In their individual pictures, the kids wanted it to look like they were holding the Eiffel Tower.

The kids wanted to take pictures.

Truett's idea for this picture was for me to pretend I was talking on the phone and for him and Paisley to look like "teenagers waiting in line."

Since I didn't blog when we were back in the States, I'll add a few pictures for the next few blogs to show some of what we did while we were there.

This first one is the Fourth of July.  We spent the day at my dad's house.  It was nice to be out in the country with family!
