Paper Airplanes and paper Flowers

The other day I found a website that teachers you how to make the 5 best paper airplanes.  So, we spent about an hour making them and decorating them.  Then we had paper airplane competitions.  Some went fast, some twirled, and some did loopty loops.  We had fun!

As a school assignment, the kids had to make paper flowers and watch them "bloom."  They colored and cut out flowers, then folded the petals over.  If you put them in a bowl of water, they petals will open and the flower will bloom.

Paisley's ballet

Paisley started taking ballet last fall with one of her best friends, Sari.  It's only the two of them in the class and they love it.  They had a performance at a mall in February and they were too cute!

They started by getting their make up done.

 Such sweet friends!

Before the performance, all the dancers in the studio circled up for a pep talk and prayer from the owner.

They love their teacher, Ms Jennifer.

The pictures from the actual performance aren't so good, but we are supposed to get some professional pictures.

Before the performance, we took some pictures of the girls.

Alma, Sari's little sister, wants to be a ballerina, too!
