Ramai

Ramai . . . your Indonesian word of the day.  Definition: crowded, busy, noisy, active, boisterous.  That's how our neighbor described our house the other afternoon.  If you haven't read the previous post already, take a second and read it.  So, before that big party at the neighbor's house happened, several kids were playing out in the street, including ours.

After the birthday party blowout, our neighbor invited all of the kids in to our house to play.  It was a great time, but "ramai," definitely!  There were kids coloring, kids reading, kids building with blocks, and kids playing ball.  They even asked if they could come back the next day.  This is the community I want!
