As you know, my kids love superheroes. And Paisley is starting to love dolls. So when we found out . . .
Princess Power Barbie was coming to town, Paisley (and Truett) were very excited!
We saw a billboard several weeks in advance that she was going to be there, so we anxiously awaited her arrival. Yes, her name is Princess Power Barbie, but in this house she is Super Darby!
Paisley wore her superhero cape to the mall.
Before Barbie came out, they were calling kids up on stage to make a little craft.
Of course, they saw Paisley and pulled her up.
This is her looking back looking as if she's asking if she really has to go up there. Being the good parents that we are, we shooed her up to the stage =)
There was a Hot Wheels set up right by the stage, so Truett kept himself entertained.
She got shy and quiet when the emcee asked her anything.
An Indonesian teen group entertained us while we waited for Super Darby.
Truett really likes "murfetti," which is more commonly known as confetti. When he sees it, he collects it to keep in a water bottle. He was proud of his find.
Still waiting, both kids (and Daddy) played with Hot Wheels.
Finally Super Darby arrives!
I guess Truett got a little bored.
