Kids' Performance

The kids had a day off of school recently and there was a Junior Entrepreneur Fest (don't ask what that's all about).  The kids' classes got to do some performances.  Twice a week after school Truett gets to stay late and have some extra classes.  He's in a performing arts class and a basketball class.  Here are some pictures from those performances.

They were mirroring each other in this exercise.

Here they were playing "oxygen mask."  One student held the mask and the other had to follow it around.

Showdown at the OK corral.

This was one of my favorites.  The teacher put a green ball in the middle of the room.  The kids passed the ball around and whenever they got it, they would laugh hysterically.
I think my favorite part is how still Truett is standing.  The teacher told them all to stand still and not react to the other students.  Truett seemed to be the only one to take that seriously.

Then they did the same with the red ball.  Truett was the only kid to get a round of applause!  I wish I had a better shot of it.

Paisley's turn.  The first song they sang was in Manderin.

The second song was special.  During Paisley's first couple of weeks here, she was having a hard time getting over jetlag and adjusting back to Indonesian school.  Her teacher asked me for some songs she sang back in America so they could sing them here.  She wanted to make Paisley feel more comfortable.  So, I told her Paisley's favorite song, The Pop See Ko.  Look it up!  I hit the wrong button on the phone and didn't record it.  Sad.

And we're back to Truett.  Look at those basketball skills!
