Michael and I are part of a Bible study at our international church. Through this, we got to participate in a service project. We invited everyone in the church and went to a nearby village to clean up the area. It was a fun day, although there wasn't much of the day allotted to cleaning! We arrived at the meet up point, waited about half an hour, drove an hour to the village, met at a house for snacks for about an hour, cleaned up the area for about 30-45 minutes, went back to the house to eat lunch for a while, then headed to a waterfall. So, not much actual service, but it was a great bonding time and good to see local villages.
