Christmas Party and Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas party the week before Christmas.  We had neighbors, church members, school friends, and school teachers.  Michael also invited the university students he helps with English, so we had quite a crowd.

These are the kids with Paisley's best friend and some of their teachers.

You've probably noticed that these shoe pictures are some of our favorite to take at our parties.  We love seeing how many people feel welcome and loved when they come into our house.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!

This is how we open presents with family on Christmas morning.

Have you seen these Chewbacca masks?  Such fun!

We have a Christmas tradition of going to a the same restaurant each year for Christmas lunch.  So, after playing with presents, we went there, came home played with the presents some more, and headed to church.  It was a nice service, as the kids presented the nativity story (we had both Mary and Joseph in our family), Brooke had a chance to preach, and then we had a time for candle lighting.  It was a good ending to the day.

These pictures aren't exactly in order.  We have a video and I'll put it on here as soon as Michael puts it up on youtube.

Yep, those are my kids.  The boy is making an angry face and the girl is picking her nose!

That kid on the right cracks me up!

These last two are from English Sunday School earlier in the day.  Tru was a shepherd and Paisley was an angel.

That's our neighbor in that first picture.  He and his wife came.
