One of Paisley's best friends is part of the royal family of Yogya. She's pretty far removed from the actual royalty, but she still has a special prefix for her name and lives in the area of the palace. She invited Paisley to a traditional Javanese dance practice. Actually, she invited Truett, too, but he just ran around and played with Paisley's friend's sister. We didn't have the traditional sarang for Paisley to wear like the other girls, but she had fun none the less. I must say, I think I would have been quite bored. The dance is awfully slow. It reminds me of a slow motion mime. But, the kids had fun!
