We had a crazy busy week this week because it was Paisley's birthday. We celebrated for three days straight. Those first two pictures represent our kids' excitement!
Monday started off early with Paisley Skyping family and opening presents. She had a great time and was great at expressing her excitement and appreciation over each present. "ohhhhh, I looooove it!"
Truett was such a great helper! He handed her each present and threw away the trash. He didn't even seem upset that Paisley was getting all of the presents and he wasn't getting any.

On Tuesday, we got up early and headed to a town a couple of hours away to go to a water park. It was no Wet 'N Wild, probably more of a Hawaiian Falls. We all had a great time! Unfortunately, the only picture we got were of the kids eating ice cream.
We wrapped up the birthday festivities with a party at school. Don't look too closely at the cake. I had great ideas and ambition, but it didn't come out quite the way I imagined it. But Paisley loved it and Truett said, "Mom, that's gooooooorgeous," as soon as he saw it. What a sweet kid!
At the end of the party, Paisley handed out goodie bags to all of her friends.
And this is our favorite picture of the day. Paisley found this ski cap and couldn't resist wearing it on this most frigid day!
