A Fun Day

There is a family in town with 3 kids that we have had a good time playing with recently.  The other day, we all went to the zoo together.  As we finishing up, the kids said they wanted to play together for the afternoon, so we loaded up in our car and headed to our house.  Paisley and I had baked cookies the day before and the kids wanted to sell them on the side of the road.  It was towards the end of the month of fasting here, and we knew people would be hungry!  So, the kids made signs, set up a little stand on the side of the road, and asked passersby if they would like to buy some cookies.  All the kids had a blast!  After that, the family even stayed for dinner.  The son of the other family said it was the best day he had ever had in Indonesia.  I agree, it was a really fun day!

I have been promising Paisley she could ride the elephant at the zoo since my mom was here about four years ago.  Today was the day!

After School Activities

At the kids' school, they get to participate in after school activities.  Paisley chose to do "Fun with Italian," an activity that Truett was in last semester, and "Kids' Drawing."  Truett chose to only do one activity, "Kids' Drawing."  The last week of school, parents were invited to attend the class.
